Spring

January 17,2011

As I got up this morning I looked out my bed room window which just happens to face Mt.Cardigan. The moon was big and bright at 3:30 am. There was a slight breeze and just from the tone of it, you knew it was cold outside. Coffee started as i came down stairs just a little earlier than normal, smelt so good. One of the best smell first thing in the morning.
Of course checked out Facebook to see what had happen while i was sleeping and to see how much fun people had had with out me.
Weather reports still informing us of a pending storm coming Tuesday. Not that we need another 5-10 inches of snow, but I sure would rather have the snow than sleet and freezing rain and ice.
So after  stoking the wood stoves up and warming up up just a little, that wood furnace in the basement  has made a world of difference in this house. Today has found me running Rob to work and then to Walmart to pick up  a few things and restock some stuff in the pantry. Tractor supply company to buy a round bale feeder, the to Mr. Fifes to see about getting some round bales of hay. The feeder has to be dug out, and a friend is going to bring it   to Bristol for me and I will meet her, the round bales  have been loaded and unloaded  off my truck, one sits in the barn and the other next to the round pen for the horse and cows, so when Rob gets home he can drive the tractor and load it and place it in the feeder.
I am having a hard time this week missing Anthony, its been 2 weeks since I got to hold his hand and read him stories, just a little gramma sadness. Did buy him new socks and underwear today, so we can work on potty training  when he ever gets to come back.
Need to go to the sewing room and figure out where to move things so Samantha can have a bedroom back. This way she has some privacy and  doesnt have to sleep on my couch.
Sitting looking out the front window the sun is shining so brightly  you would never know its so cold out.
The triplets are out running around and  it is just a joy to watch them prance around and twist and jump. Yesterday I let the sheep out and it was so funny to watch them run after Rob, but it was like they were dancing behind him, he kept looking out of the corner of his eye at them. I will let all of them out in a bit, to get exercise for the day.

The hamburger is thawing to make chinese pie tonight for supper.
Laundry to do, need to make another batch of soap, so I must get off this thing and get busy.

I pray you all stay safe and Thank you for stopping by and reading about my day.
Thank you for letting me share it with you.

God Bless
